In this post, I wanted to share an article that I came across on entrepeneur.com. Basically, it interviews a man named Peter Cogan about his experience going from being a company employee to the owner of a franchise. I thought it was interesting to hear some of the realistic challenges and upfront costs that he had to deal with. Have a look at a few highlights from the article:
A little while ago, I posted an interview with my personal CPA and friend Warren Taryle for gold members of my Land for Pennies program to listen to. Now that tax day is here, it's a good time to evaluate how we are doing and whether or not we are taking advantage of all of the tools we have available to us. In a summary of the interview that I sent out later, I wrote down my takeaway:
I love talking about being a leader. I am fascinated by the fact that so many people want to be in charge, but they actually have no idea how to do it. I am the CEO of a company, a husband and father, and I have seen that being a leader is not about screaming, bullying, and throwing my weight around. Being a leader is about bringing out the best in your team and getting the job done.
When you are trying to make major changes in your life and to strive for something better, you might find yourself failing from time to time; or at least failing to meet the expectation you had set for yourself. So what can you so when you meet a hurdle?
Making a budget was something that many of us had to do in our high school economics class. Having done it once, few of us relish the thought of ever making a budget again. For some it’s a simply tedious activity while for others it’s a constant reminder of how little money they have in relation to their financial obligations. As painful as it may be at times, making a budget (and sticking to it) is the first step towards getting control of your finances. How can you get started?
The world today needs more leaders. I firmly believe that. I believe that leaders are the difference between success and failure; between a life filled with hope and one filled with sad compromise. But does that mean that we are doomed to wait for leaders to appear on their own, shaped by mysterious forces and genes? I don't think so. A recent article on Forbes confirmed something that I have always thought: that anyone can be a great leader.
I wanted to talk briefly about delegation today. Part of being a good leader is knowing how to delegate some of your asks to others. Aside from freeing you up to focus on the really big stuff, delegation lets your employees show their true colors and grow.
Capture I am back in the office after an incredible three days in Atlanta. Together with a group of serious Forevercashers, I was change lives and help my friends get control of their finances. During three days, I explained in detail what my “Forever Cash” method is all about - escaping the Hamster Wheel of Financial Hell and putting you on the path to creating freedom and wealth. What kinds of things did I talk about at my seminar?
