Back in 2010, actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for not having filed his taxes.

It seems that the actor was a victim of some bad advice (his advisors got sentences themselves) and his life got put on hold until he paid his debt to society.

If you follow my methods and don’t give up at the first sign of a setback, I am convinced that you will get out of debt and will have your future needs covered. If you really work at it, you can become truly wealthy.

But take a lesson from Wesley Snipes and be careful who you listen to.

Know the credentials of any tax attorneys or CPAs you work with and make sure their advice is legal and ethical. It’s one thing to take advantage of the laws already in place to lower your tax payment; but it’s another thing altogether to shirk your civic duty.
